especially after I downloaded and installed some of the great MODs and MAPs that are available at the various fan or gaming websites (more on this below). Recently my son set aside his RTS games and wanted to try an FPS, I suggested he give BFV a go.
However I got into playing several other FPS and tactical shooter games and put BFV on the backburner. I then played the excellent story driven Men of Valor (Sierra) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt a return to the wet green and orange skies was in order. Anyway I played it for a while and became a bit jaded with the gameplay and I guess lack of variety, despite the various "historical" engagements depicted. I had read various reviews of it and its sister games in the Battlefield (BF) series and was somewhat ambivalent prefering story/mission driven FPS games. The 2 folders that will find and you need to delete are: (do not delete any BF1942 if you have it): Under "Edit" hit "find" (Ctrl+F)and type "Battlefield"ĥ. you can return to the registry and use "Import" to get it back.Ĥ. At the top left side, select "File", then select second choice "EXPORT", you will need to enter a file name (like: RegCopy07142004), and select a folder or c:\ to place your "backup" exported registry. Go to "Start", then "Run", then type there "regedit" and hit ok.ģ. Default is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield VietnamĢ. Delete the folder (including all sub folders), from where the program was installed.
