Triggered by this coward action, the youths 1n Semarang immediately launched a war action. All the residents were told not to drink the water from the taps. Thanks to dr Karyadi who knew the Japanese’s intention, the plot failed. Japan initially tried to kill all the residents of Semarang by poisoning water in the taps. Many of the fighters were killed 1n the battle. When the Japanese troops built a base camp in Semarang, Japan also took over Lawang Sewu, a building which was built by the Dutch Semarang fighters tried to the death to repel the Japanese invaders. The Japanese forces that drove away the Dutch took over the Indonesian teritory.

The population in this study were students of class XI IPS of SMA Negeri in Cianjur Regency and a sample of 213 students was taken by simple random sampling technique. The research method used was an explanatory survey using a questionnaire / questionnaire as a data collection tool. This study aims to study the interaction of confidence in student learning outcomes in economic subjects with learning motivation as mediation. This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in economic subjects class XI IPS of SMA Negeri in Cianjur regency which is seen based on the PAS value of the 2018/2019 school year.
